A source tells Life & Style magazine that Britney Spears physically abused her husband, Kevin Federline, several times during their marriage. However, a representative for Britney denies the rumor, saying:

"This is just another attempt to make Britney look like a bad mom."

Well, this WOULD explain Kevin's request to a judge to order Brit Brit not to use corporal punishment on Sean and Jayden.

Lauren Conrad's New BFF?

According to several reliable sources, Lauren Conrad has been seen out and about with famed attorney Howard Weitzman's teenage daughter, Brianna Tatiana. Howard's clients include Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, and Courtney Love. Plus, Brianna hosts a monthly party at Los Angeles hotspot Les Deux, one of L.C.'s favorite hangouts. E! Online reports:

A source told us, "Lauren has grown very fond of Brianna. The two have found they have almost everything in common."

This can't be good for Audrina or Whitney. Are we sensing a "Hills" replacement?

Britney Spears: "I want my Yorkie!"

According to several reliable sources, Britney Spears lost her cool when she was told she couldn't dine at a Mexican restaurant with her pet Yorkie, named London, in her lap. OK! Magazine dishes:

“It set her off into hysterics,” the source tells OK! about the scene at the Marina del Rey, Calif., eatery. And a friend of Brit adds, “She cares more about London than her boys! She’ll let anyone hold Preston and Jayden, but has to really trust you for you to even touch London."
The friend also reveals to OK! that, "If one of the boys is crying and London is barking, she’ll pick up London while the nanny calms the babies.”

This doesn't sound good. Britney loves her dog more than her children?

Britney Spears Releasing Album Early

A representive for Jive Records has confirmed that Britney Spears' new album, "Blackout," will be released on October 29, instead of November 12, as previously planned. The Sun says:

An unofficial source at her label told me: “The demand for Britney’s new album has taken everyone by surprise. People are desperate to get their hands on it.
“Executives at the label decided to give people what they want, so they opted to get it on the shelves as soon as they possibly could.”

Lindsay Lohan: A Playboy Bunny?

Lindsay's Lohan's ex boyfriend, director Brett Ratner, is considering casting the struggling actress in his biopic about Hugh Hefner's life. E! Online reports:

"She's very talented...if she's sober," he considered, in response to our Q on whether or not the rehabbed hottie could hack it. "She would be great as a Playboy Bunny."

Britney Spears Passes Her Drug Test, Visits Children

Britney Spears managed to pass her drug test over the weekend, and therefore was allowed to visit her children. TMZ has the scoop:

We're also told Britney is currently with her children and a parenting coach and all is going fine. She has visitation from morning till early evening. Spears also had similar visitation yesterday and last Saturday, and she has accepted the fact that a parenting coach will be watching and making suggestions.
As we first reported, Britney would not open the door for the children last Thursday because she didn't want anyone to tell her how to raise her kids.

Congrats to Brit Brit - it looks like she's finally pulling herself together!

Lily Allen: Hypnotized into Losing Weight?

Lily Allen claims she dropped four dress sizes using hypnosis. US Magazine has the details:

"Allen slimmed down with the help of Susan Hepburn, an accredited hypnotherapist and psychotherapist who charges approximately $600 an hour to implant subconscious messages into clients' minds reminding them to stop eating when they feel full.
"After the hypnotism, I want to go to the gym every day, otherwise I feel really bad,” Allen, 22, said. “I just want to get more toned and healthy. I'm really good about everything at the moment -- I've never been happier.”
